What this site is
A planning calculator. It applies published manufacturer weight ratings — payload, GVWR, GCWR and axle ratings — to figures you supply, and explains what those ratings mean.
What it is not
It is not a substitute for a certified scale. It is not engineering advice, mechanical advice, legal advice, or a certification that any vehicle combination is safe or lawful to operate. Nothing here creates a professional relationship of any kind.
Where a figure on this site disagrees with the certification label in your vehicle’s door jamb, the label governs and this site is simply wrong. The label describes your vehicle. This site describes arithmetic.
Accuracy
The calculations are performed carefully and the method is published so you can check it. Even so, results depend entirely on the figures you enter and on assumptions — rear-axle weight distribution, tongue weight percentage, weight-distribution hitch transfer — that are estimates and are labelled as such on the page.
No warranty is given that any result is accurate, complete or suitable for your situation. Weigh the loaded combination on a certified scale before relying on any of it.

Fair use
Use the calculators as much as you like, for yourself or alongside a customer. Do not scrape the site at volume, republish it as your own, or present its output as a professional assessment, inspection or certification you have performed.
